The Stone Roses might be splitting up.
Ian Brown, the band’s lead singer, announced the end at the Glasgow show yesterday, saying “Don’t be sad it’s over, be happy that it happened.”
Although the band haven’t officially confirmed the split, the fans are already mourning on Twitter.
If this really was their last gig, the band did it with style. The stadium takes 90,000 people and the huge audience had the chance to hear all of their hits, including the new songs. However, they still haven’t played Beautiful Thing, a single that hasyet to be been performed live.
