The opening frame of Harry Styles’ “Watermelon Sugar” music video says it all, “This video is dedicated to touching.”

Back in January, the video was filmed on a Malibu beach and it features Styles sitting oceanside surrounded by beautiful women and fruits while he sings, “Tastes like strawberries on a summer evenin’ / And it sounds just like a song / I want more berries and that summer feelin’ / It’s so wonderful and warm.” The second half of the video has Styles dancing atop a Pacific Ocean overlook and then jumping in the water.

The video is slightly reminiscent of Elton John’s 1983 video for “I’m Still Standing,” which was also set on a beach and Styles is seen wearing blue-tinted sunglasses which are a classic for Elton John.

The single debuted on Saturday Night Live back in November and it’s his fourth single from his second full-length album, The Fine Line which has sold 1.2 million units since it’s release in December. The single from the album, “Adore You,” reached No. 1 on the Top 40 and Hot AC radio formats, and earlier this month, “Watermelon Sugar” was certified platinum by RIAA.
