This is indeed going to be a very good year.
HBO dropped the first footage from the 8th and final season of its hit series Game of Thrones and fans everywhere are losing it!
The footage was featured in a new HBO promo that aired during the 2019 Golden Globes. In the much shorter than we would have lived clip, Daenerys and Jon Snow walks up to Sansa Stark at Winterfell, and then the Lady of Winterfell says, “Winterfell is yours, your Grace” — to the Mother of Dragons!
The promo also featured a clip from another hit HBO series, Big Little Lies. The clip debuts the character played by Meryl Streep, who says”I want to know what happened that night,” over footage of a police lineup of the ladies in their gala dresses.
Game of Thrones returns for its final season in April.
