HBO Max scored its first hit original show with The Flight Attendant, and more episodes are on the way. This hit series, starring Kaley Cuoco and based on Chris Bohjalian’s bestselling novel of the same name, has been renewed for the second season.

The Flight Attendant centers on a reckless flight attendant whose life turns upside down after she wakes up in Bangkok with a dead man next to her. As the mystery starts unrevealing, she’s left questioning her own reality and wondering if she could be responsible for the murder.

Cuoco, who also serves as executive producer in addition to playing the lead role, said she’s thrilled to continue her partnership with showrunner Steve Yockey, HBO Max, and Warner Bros. after the renewal was announced. “To say that I am elated would be an understatement! The positive response to our show has surpassed all of our expectations and I’m so proud of the entire team behind its success,” stated the actress.

The Flight Attendant premiered on HBO Max on November 26th and received generally positive reviews. In addition to Cuoco, the series also stars Michiel Huisman, Zosia Mamet, T.R. Knight, and Michelle Gomez.
