As AV Club reports, HBO has finally picked up Robert Downey Jr.’s reboot of legal drama Perry Mason.
Originally, Nic Pizzolatto was involved before he moved on to the new season of True Detective. He will be replaced by Rolin Jones and Ron Fitzgerald, who have worked together on titles like Weeds, Friday Night Lights, and Low Winter Sun.
Downey Jr. will star as Perry Mason. This is his biggest TV project since he was on Ally McBeal. Of course, the world today knows him as Tony Stark a.k.a. Iron Man.
