The second season of The White Lotus is making waves on HBO and the network is ready to bring it back for another round. The critically acclaimed anthology series has been renewed for Season 3, only three episodes into its second season.
The White Lotus sets the action in the titular high-end resort chain, chronicling a week in the lives of employees and guests, who quickly come to learn this resort isn’t exactly the paradise they were looking for. The first season of the show was set in Hawaii, while the second took us to Sicily.
The show’s creator, writer, and director Mike White confirmed its renewal in an official statement and said he’s happy to partner up with Casey Bloys, Francesca Orsi, Nora Skinner, and their incredible team for the third chapter of the White Lotus story.
“There’s no place I’d rather work than HBO and there’s no people I’d rather partner with… I feel so lucky to get this opportunity again and am excited to reunite with my amazingly talented collaborators on The White Lotus,” said White.
The second season of The White Lotus premiered on HBO on October 30 and its star-studded cast includes Jennifer Coolidge, F. Murray Abraham, Michael Imperioli, Aubrey Plaza, Will Sharpe, Theo James, Meghann Fahy, and Sabrina Impacciatore.
