Project Runway hasn’t been the same since mentor Tim Gunn and host Heidi Klum left the series. Now, fans of fashion competitions will be able to see the pair team up for the latest Amazon series Making the Cut.
Making the Cut is set to premiere on March 27 and the fashion competition will feature 12 international designers and entrepreneurs competing to become the “next global fashion brand,” a $1 million prize, a mentorship with Amazon fashion head Christine Beauchamp, and an exclusive clothing line on Amazon.
After each episode, viewers will be able to buy the winning looks on Amazon.
The show will be 10 episodes that air over five weeks—two episodes will air weekly until the finale on April 24.
In the trailer, we see the judges who include Heidi Klum, Naomi Campbell, Nicole Richie, Joseph Altuzarra, Carine Roitfeld, and Chiara Ferragni as well as Tim Gunn and the contestants in New York, Paris, and Tokyo creating couture and accessible looks. The runways will take place at historic landmarks and museums.
