Hilary Duff Grieves The Death of Her Beloved Dog in Heartbreaking Post

Hilary Duff shares a heartbreaking Instagram post about her beloved dog who passed away on Monday.

The TV star wrote a lengthy message, giving tribute to her 10-year-old Bernese Mountain dog Dubois, “Dubie.” Her four-legged best friend was a regular company on Duff’s social media, making cameos on her Instagram stories.

“I never let myself imagine what this day would look or feel like. It was us. And we were invincible,” the 30-year-old actress began her post. “I am having to look into your beautiful amber almond shaped eyes and tell you goodbye today. And honestly I would take the pain of losing you 10x over to have had you for even a quarter of that time my dubie.”

Duff thanked her dog for being there through thick and thin. She ended her message with a heartbreaking goodbye to her longtime companion.

“I will miss you everyday of my life my sweet boy. You were that once in a lifetime dog. That special bond that not everybody gets. And I got you. You picked me. You were a force. You changed me forever. I will see you at the other end of the rainbow My boy. Forever indebted to you. Rip Dubois.”

On January 2016, the Younger star posted a similar poignant letter to her Frenchie, Beau, who suddenly died.
