Hilary Swank has just landed a role in thriller Fatale.
The 44-year-old actress, best known for her roles in Boys Don’t Cry and Million Dollar Baby, has been tapped to star in a Deon Taylor helmed feature. Taylor will direct Fatale as well as produce with his Hidden Empire Film Group partners Roxanne Avent and Robert F. Smith.
Swank will play a seductive police detective that tricks a married man into a murder scheme.
“Getting tough, smart, beautiful, and perplexing all in one performance is daunting – until you get Hilary Swank, then you breathe easier and things get really exciting,” said Taylor. “We’re really looking forward to making this movie and letting Hilary do what she does best – command the screen.”
Production begins in Los Angeles next month. You can see Swank next in What They Had, which opens in October.
