Looks like House of Cards will survive the turmoil after all.
Netflix’s content chief Ted Sarandos announced at a USB conference that the show will indeed carry on with Robin Wright as the focal point, saying that the streaming giant is “excited to bring closure to fans.”
After production of the final season of the series was put on hold due to sexual harassment allegation made at Kevin Spacey, it is reported by E! News that the final season will consist of 8 episodes with production resuming in early 2018.
Pauline Micelli, MRC’s senior vice president of television business and legal affairs, explained the production’s long than usual hiatus.
“These last two months have tested and tried all of us in ways none could have foreseen. The one thing we have learned throughout this process is that this production is bigger than just one person and we could not be more proud to be associated with one of the most loyal and talented production cast and crews in this business.”
Looks like it is her turn now.
