Blumhouse’s politically charged action-thriller has cast Ike Barinholtz.

Barinholtz joins the previously announced Emma Roberts, Justin Hartley and Glenn Howerton in the still very under wraps production. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the “subversive script that takes its cues from the current political climate in America, elevating the current conflict between right and left wings to a violent level.”

The Hunt was penned by Lost and The Leftovers co-writers Damon Lindelof and Nick Cuse. At the helm is Craig Zobel who will also executive produce alongside Cuse. Blumhouse’s Jason Blum will produce, alongside Lindelof via his White Rabbit banner.

Barinholtz is best known for his role on The Mindy Project. He made his directorial debut last year with The Oath, in which he also starred opposite Tiffany Haddish.

The Hunt has been set for an October 18 premiere.
