Soon enough, we’ll get to see the Impractical Jokers bring all their hidden-camera dares to the big screen.

TruTV’s Impractical Jokers: The Movie will be released in select theatres on Friday, February 21, 2020. The film will be directed by Chris Henchy (Daddy’s Home, Eastbound & Down) and produced by Funny or Die. Impractical Jokers: The Movie will be a fictional story about a high school mishap from the early 1990s and it will include real-life footage of the jokers and callbacks from the series.

The cast, who are known as the Tenderloins, consists of lifelong friends and comedians, Brian “Q” Quinn, James “Murr” Murray, Sal Vulcano, and Joe Gatto. Also appearing in the movie are Paula Abdul, Jaden Smith, and Joey Fatone.

“The opportunity to bring the fun we have making Impractical Jokers from television to the big screen is a dream come true for us. When we started the show eight seasons ago, we always had a desire to expand our style of comedy to new mediums outside of television, and via our comedy tours, cruises, and now film, we’re excited to continue this adventure with our fans,” said the Tenderloins.

Impractical Jokers: The Movie is an extension of the series Impractical Jokers, which is in its eighth season and it will return to truTV on Thursday, January 30.
