Jack Black Receives a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Millions of people dream about having their own star on Hollywood Walk of Fame, and that dream just came true for Jack Black. The famous comedian had some fun posing on the sidewalk with his new star after it was unveiled on Tuesday.

Some of the people who joined Black on the sidewalk were Richard Linklater and Mike White, the masterminds behind School of Rock – the movie that transformed this relative unknown into an overnight sensation.

Tim Robbins, Bob Odenkirk and Eli Roth, the director of Black’s upcoming project A House With a Clock in Its Walls, also showed up to support him. They had nothing but words of praise for two-time Golden Globe-nominated actor, and Linklater went so far to describe him as “massive colossus of talent”.

Jack Black was his usual hilarious self while receiving this huge honor and joked the star proves he really made it in this world.

“I’ve wanted one of these things for so long. Since I was a kid I thought, ‘Oh man, if you get one of those stars on the sidewalk that means you’ve made it.’ And I feel like I’ve finally grasped that sweet brass ring.” said Black after receiving the star.
