James Corden is joining the new sci-fi comedy Super Intelligence, as the voice of the title character.
The new Melissa McCarthy comedy from New Line Cinema follows Carol Peters, a former corporate executive whose earnest yet unfulfilled life is turned upside when she is selected for observation by the world’s first super intelligence, played by James Corden. Host of The Late Late Show is set to voice this all-powerful AI life, which could very possibly be on the verge of taking over everything.
Production on Super Intelligence is set to begin next month with Steve Mallory attached as writer.
This isn’t Corden’s first gig as voice star, voicing the titular character in Sony’s 2018 hit film Peter Rabbit.
Super Intelligence will be released on Christmas Day, 2019.
