Janelle Monae is set to star in season 2 of the Amazon drama.
Multiple outlets confirm that the Hidden Figures and Moonlight star will be headlining the forthcoming season of the psychological thriller, Homecoming.
Monae will take over from Julia Roberts, who starred in Season 1. According to Variety, Monae’s character is a tenacious woman who finds herself floating in a canoe, with no memory of how she got there or who she is.
Roberts, who won’t be starring in the next season, will return as an executive producer of the series.
It is unknown if season 1 stars Stephan James and Bobby Cannavale will return for season 2.
The second season of Homecoming stars shooting later this year.
