Jason Biggs has been tapped to star in Geniuses.
The Fox comedy pilot has tapped the Orange Is The New Black and American Pie star as its lead.
Biggs will star opposite the recently announced Maggie Lawson in the forthcoming comedy pilot as the leading duo in the upcoming multi-camera blue-collar family series. Zimmet will also executive produce with Jonathan Judge set to direct the pilot.
Geniuses hails from LA to Vegas creator/executive producer Lon Zimmet. The comedy follows a blue-collar couple, Cay (Lawson) and Mike (Biggs) living in South Jersey, just trying to get by while raising four kids, three of whom happen to be certified geniuses.
According to Variety, Mike is an affable, enthusiastic dad and husband to Cay. Cay on the other hand is described as a true Jersey girl, with a strong intuition and a nose for BS.
Geniuses is one of six comedies currently in the works at Fox.
