Jennifer Garner Makes TV Comeback in First Trailer for “Camping”

Jennifer Garner’s fans have been anticipating her return to the small screen for over a decade, and they’re finally getting what they asked for. The first trailer for her comedy Camping just dropped and gave us a look at Garner we’ve never seen before.

This HBO show follows Kathryn and Walt, a not-so-happily married couple, whose camping adventure quickly spirals out of control.

Their meticulously planned outdoor trip is derailed by uninvited guests and forces of nature, turning the weekend into a test of marriage and friendships.

Garner takes front and center in the first trailer, as a control-freak who’s constantly ruining everyone’s fun.

A peaceful weekend celebration of her husband’s 45th birthday quickly turns into a nightmare because their fellow campers don’t know how to deal with her controlling nature and angry outbursts.

Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner, who served as showrunners on HBO’s Girls, were in charge of creating this limited series. In addition to Garner, Camping also stars David Tennant, Juliette Lewis, and Ione Skye. It will premiere on October 14 on HBO.
