Jennifer Lawrence, 26, is lying low these days with hubby Darren Aronofsky, 47.
The couple was spotted Saturday, spending a cold Manhattan day at the movies before grabbing a bite to eat at an Indian native restaurant. E! News has obtained photos of the couple giving each other a hug before heading out for their date.
“Their relationship seems very strong and genuine,” a source reveals, noting that they “kissed and hugged” throughout their date. The Hunger Games actress and Oscar-nominated director watched Beauty and the Beast then made their way to Bhatti Indian Barbeque Grill after.
Another insider reveals that even though they haven’t been spotted in public for awhile, their relationship is going strong. “Jen and Darren are still very much so together,” the source confirms. “Darren visited Jen in Budapest while she was filming Red Sparrow recently. He was there during his birthday and to support her while she was away filming. They are very happy together right now.”
Lawrence and Aronofsky have been “official” since August. Aronofsky has a 10-year-old son, Henry, with ex Rachel Weisz, but there’s no confirmation on whether Lawrence has met him yet. But a source did note, that Lawrence “seems very comfy with his family.”
The Oscar-winning actress was previously linked to Chris Martin of Coldplay but reportedly ended their romance because of her struggles with the extra spotlight it had on their relationship.
