Most people celebrate their birthday with a cake and a bottle of champagne, but not Jennifer Lopez. She’s commemorating her 50th birthday with the It’s My Party summer tour – her first in almost seven years!
J.Lo’s epic bday bash will last all summer long – or at least over twenty-four dates in Northern America. The tour will kick off in Los Angeles on June 7 and end on July 25 in Miami, only a day after the superstar’s birthday.
Official release describes her upcoming tour as “a nonstop party mix of Jennifer’s new and classic anthems, show-stopping choreography and dancers, dazzling wardrobe, jaw-dropping technology and set design, and all of the glamour and wow-factor fans have come to expect of Jenny from the Block.”
It sure sounds amazing, and J.Lo’s fans actually spent quite a lot of time waiting for this moment to come. Her last headlining tour Dance Again, took place all the way back in 2012 and it’s pretty exhilarating to hear she’s finally going back on the road after such a long break.
