A day later, the 34-year-old actress went on to post a photo of their red carpet photo shoot with a caption: “Most partial to this talented nominee.”
On Monday, more photos of the happy couple followed.
After the 76th Golden Globe Awards ceremony, Jim Carrey talked to Extra about his new girlfriend, saying that Gonzaga is “incredible, unbelievable, wicked talent and amazing person.”
“Not bad for a first date!” he added. “I just want first base tonight, I’m not looking to take the field.”
The relationship between Jim Carrey and Ginger Gonzaga is one of those situations when real-life imitates art as their characters, Jeff and Vivian, are also dating in Showtime’s comedy-drama Kidding.
Prior to Gonzaga, Carrey wasn’t romantically linked with another woman since his ex-girlfriend Cathriona White died in 2015. The actor was previously married to actress Melissa Womer, with whom he has daughter Jane, and Dumb and Dumber co-star Lauren Holly. He also dated Renée Zellweger and Jenny McCarthy in the past.
