Jimmy Kimmel Returns to Late Night, Gives an Update on Newborn Son’s Health

Late Night host Jimmy Kimmel went back to his talk show on Monday and shared an update about his baby boy’s health.

Kimmel said: “Our son Billy is doing very well. He’s eating, he’s getting bigger, he’s sleeping well. He can read now, which they say is unusual for his age.”

Kimmel was away for a week after his son’s birth, as the baby had to undergo an open-heart surgery hours after being born.

In the video you can see below, Jimmy said:

“One week ago tonight, I made an emotional speech that was seen by millions, and as a result of my powerful words that night, Republicans in Congress had second thoughts about ‘repeal and replace.’ They realized that what is right is right, and I saved health insurance in the United States of America!”

‘Correcting’ the joke he made, he continued, “What’s that? I didn’t? I didn’t save it? They voted against it anyway! I really need to pay more attention to the news.”
