Joey King has become a household name this summer after starring in The Kissing Booth. Well, it looks like we’ll be seeing a lot more of her as she’s currently in negotiations to star in Brad Pitt’s Bullet Train.
Bullet Train is based on Kotaro Isaka’s Japanese novel Maria Beetle. David Leitch is set to direct the film from a script by Zak Olkewicz.
According to sources, King will play one of four leads opposite Pitt, and she’ll be the only woman in the group. Other plot details and character descriptions are still under wraps and the production date hasn’t been set yet.
King starred in Netflix’s 2018 The Kissing Booth with Jacob Elordi and Joel Courtney, which just had a sequel released on July 26. A third movie was secretly filmed and will be released in 2021.
King has also been in Crazy, Stupid, Love, The Dark Knight Rises, The Conjuring, White House Down, Independence Day: Resurgence, Wish Upon, and Slender Man. She received an Emmy nomination for her role in the true-crime drama series, The Act.
