Variety reports that John David Washington will star in Christopher Nolan’s next feature.
The Blackkklansman star has been tapped as the lead in Nolan’s next event film.
While plot and character details are under wraps, the film is said to be an action blockbuster, with sources telling the outlet that the feature is “a massive, innovative, action blockbuster, which will again be shown in Imax.”It is also known that Nolan recently finished the script for the movie and that it has been slated for a July 17, 2020 release — a date the studio reserves for the director.
Nolan’s latest feature, Dunkirk, was a huge success in the box office bringing in a whopping $526 million worldwide. It also earned him an Oscar nomination for director.
