Jordan Peele’s “Twilight Zone” Renewed for Season 2

The reboot of cult science-fiction anthology series The Twilight Zone recently premiered on CBS All Access, and it seems we’ll be getting more of it. Jordan Peele’s latest project is officially coming back for Season 2.

Julie McNamara, EVP Original Content at CBS All Access, broke the amazing news. She praised the creative team behind this project for doing a “phenomenal job translating the series’ legacy of socially conscious storytelling for modern-day audiences.”

The Twilight Zone reboot premiered on CBS All Access on April 1 and attracted more viewers with its first episode than any of their previous original shows.

In addition to developing and executive producing this show, Jordan Peele also serves as a narrator, but he was very reluctant about taking on this rule.

“In the end, it felt right. It was one of those situations where how long can you bat away the opportunity of a lifetime? I did it, and it’s such an incredible honor and it feels like I’m living in an episode of The Twilight Zone,” said Peele during PaleyFest.
