Josh Segarra has been tapped to star in NBC’s Night School pilot.
Multiple outlets confirm that Segarra has been cast in a lead role in the upcoming pilot based on the film Night School.
Segarra will play the role that was played by Kevin Hart in the movie aka Teddy Walker, a charming salesman. He joins previously announced Shanola Hampton, who will play the teacher, which was played by Tiffany Haddish in the film, as well as Ian Gomez, Collette Wolfe, James Earl, and Joe Massingill.
Segarra’s television credits include Arrow, Orange Is the New Black, The Moodys, The Other Two, Chicago PD, Sirens and the now-canceled AJ and the Queen.
