The Affair fans are about to say goodbye to another series regular.
TVLine has confirmed that Joshua Jackson will not return for the series’ final Season. The news of Jackson’s exit from the show follows news of Ruth Wilson’s exit after her character was killed off in the Season 4 finale.
Jackson has played Cole Lockhart on the drama for its first four Seasons. The 40-year-old actor was initially contracted for two Season and kept on signing. According to the outlet, Jackson might make a couple of guest appearances in the fifth and final Season of The Affair.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the show’s final season is still in development, which basically means that the creative team is figuring out how all the characters’ stories find their conclusion.
