Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt are searching for the secret to eternal life in Disney’s Jungle Cruise.
The journey takes intrepid researcher Dr. Lily Houghton (Blunt) from London to the Amazon jungle to find an ancient tree with healing abilities that could change modern medicine forever, as long as it doesn’t end up in the wrong hands. Along the way, she recruits skipper Frank Wolff (Johnson) to pilot her through the jungle on his ramshackle riverboat.
Frank tells her that he’s been trying to find this same tree for a while now, but that it doesn’t exist. During their journey, the two will have to overcome animal and human threats that want to kill them.
Edgar Ramirez, Jack Whitehall, Jesse Plemons, and Paul Giamatti will also star in the film.
Jungle Cruise is based on the Disneyland ride and it’s set to be released on July 24. Watch the trailer below.
