Kate Hudson is celebrating her parents Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell’s 34th Anniversary with a Throwback Thursday photo from the 80’s.
The Almost Famous actress posted on Instagram on Thursday a sweet pic with caption, “Mama Goldie and Pa killing it 80’s style.”
“Forgot to post a note on my parents 34th Anniversary so I figure why not now,” Hudson added. “A belated happy one my dear parents. Love you madly, deeply, profoundly. #HairGoals #Love.”
Her parents began dating in 1983 and the couple have been together for over three decades now but they were never officially married. They have a son, Wyatt, who was born in 1986.
Hudson is Hawn’s daughter from her marriage to musician Bill Hudson but the Fool’s Gold actress was never close to her biological father and has long considered Russell, whom she grew up with, as her dad.
Hudson and Russell have been in Hollywood movies for many years but it was only recently that they were together for the first time in last year’s Deepwater Horizon.
The 37-year-old actress spoke with ET about the experience and what it was like learning from the veteran actor.
“Growing up watching him work, he’s such a pro and I think it was a great lesson for me when I was younger as to what kind of actress I wanted to be and the person on set I wanted to be,” Hudson shared. “I just love everything he’s done.”
