Congratulations to the now mother of three!
Kate Hudson and partner Danny Fujikawa have officially announced the birth of their daughter. The two announced the arrival of their bundle of joy Wednesday on Instagram. The post also revealed the baby girl’s name: Rani Rose Hudson Fujikawa. The post was simply captioned with “She’s here 💕.”
In the post, the parents also explained their choice of name.
“We have decided to name our daughter Rani (pronounced Ronnie) after her (paternal) grandfather, Ron Fujikawa. Ron was the most special man who we all miss dearly. To name her after him is an honor.”
The 38-year-old actress also added that everyone was “doing well and happy as can be.” “Our family thanks you for all the love and blessings that have been sent our way and we send ours right back,” she wrote.
Hudson is already a mother of two, son Ryder, 14, with ex-husband Chris Robinson, and son Bingham, 6, with ex-fiance Matthew Bellamy.
