Kathy Griffin announces comeback

After the controversial photo fiasco Kathy Griffin is planning her comeback.

Griffin made an appearance on Bill Maher’s Real Time on Friday night where she said: “I’m not decimated.” It’s no surprise that Griffin chose to make her announcement to Maher as she considers him as the “one of the first and only people to publicly support” her.

“I’m dipping my toes into touring again, even though the Trumps and nobody want me to work again,” she said. “But I’m dipping my toes in and I just booked today, I’m gonna do a show at Carnegie Hall in New York, and I’m also gonna go right to Trump’s backyard and do a show at the Kennedy Center.”

Griffin confirmed the news via her Twitter account writing, “Great news – I’m heading back to Carnegie Hall in New York! Tickets will be on sale next week. If you want the first crack at the best tickets, join my email list and you’ll get a head start!”

After initiating a massive backlash, Griffin apologized but then said that she is “no longer sorry, the whole outrage was B.S., the whole thing got so blown out of proportion.”

Apology or not it seems that Griffin would be happy to turn the page, calling the ordeal, a “truly historic situation.”
