As Twitter announced, Katy Perry broke a record on this social media website becoming the first person ever to reach 100 million followers.
Some have pointed that many of her followers are fake ones, known as bots, but it’s still a great accomplishment.
This milestone comes right as the singer is promoting her new album titled “Witness,” which is pretty good timing.
Perry uses Twitter as one of the main communication channels between her and her fans, so it’s no wonder they love her back.
