Quibi announced that Keke Palmer and Joel Kim Booster will be hosting the reboot of the 1990s MTV dating series.

Singled Out was on MTV from 1995-1998 and Chris Hardwick, Jenny McCarthy, and Carmen Electra hosted the show. The series was about a group of single people competing to win over one person. The new version will be 20 episodes and it will incorporate elements of dating in today’s era with the daters being given a link to the potential daters via social media.

Keke Palmer who recently starred in Hustlers said, “I am thrilled to be hosting Singled Out. To be able to reimagine this show for my generation and on a new platform is so exciting. Can’t wait for you guys to see what we have in store!” Joel Kim Booster from Search Party is also working on a romantic comedy with Quibi called Trip, which is based on Jane Austin’s Pride and Prejudice.

Producing the reboot is MTV studios and they’ll also be producing a new version of Punk’d for Quibi. The streaming service has yet to reveal a release date for Singled Out.
