2018 Radio Disney Music Awards will be honoring Kelly Clarkson with the Icon award to take place on Friday, June 22.
The Grammy winner will perform a medley of her hit songs at the ceremony, which will air Saturday on Disney Channel as well as several Disney-branded platforms, including the Radio Disney, the Radio Disney app, the DisneyNOW app and Disney.com/RDMA.
The Icon Award recognizes an artist whose profession transcends pop culture and whose music is beloved by generations of Radio Disney fans. It also honors the artist for her influence she has had on the music industry. Last year, the coveted award went to Britney Spears, who also performed some of her songs during the event.
The awards show, which will be held at the Dolby Theater, features performances by Carrie Underwood with Ludacris, Meghan Trainor, Charlie Puth, Echosmith, Marshmello, and American Idol winner Maddie Poppe. And nominees include Taylor Swift, Camila Cabello, Meghan Trainor, Selena Gomez, Shawn Mendes, Taylor Swift, Maroon 5, Ed Sheeran and Bruno Mars.
