Ken Jeong and D’Arcy Carden to Unveil Emmy Nominations Next Month

There’s not much we know about the 2019 Emmy Awards at this point in time, but Ken Jeong and D’Arcy Carden will tell us more in about a month. They’ll be in charge of unveiling the list of nominees for the most prestigious award in the TV industry.

Television Academy Chairman and CEO Frank Scherma shared the amazing news in an official press release, and he’ll be joining Jeong and Carden on July 16th, when they’ll announce the list of nominees for this year’s ceremony.

“We are thrilled to have these two comedic talents join us to announce this year’s Emmy nominees – programs and individuals whose excellent work is reshaping the television landscape,” said Scherma.

The 71st Primetime Emmy Awards will be taking place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on September 22nd. Fox will be in charge of broadcasting the ceremony, and it’s been rumored they’re considering going host-less for the first time since 2003 since they still haven’t found the perfect host.
