Kim Cattrall to Star in New CBS All Access Series

Kim Cattrall has joined the cast of Tell Me a Story that will air on CBS All Access.

The 61-year-old actress is set for a lead role, starring opposite Billy Magnussen in the upcoming psychological thriller created by Kevin Williamson and Aaron Kaplan. The two also serve as executive producers alongside Dana Honor and Liz Friedlander.

Written by Williamson, the series is set in modern-day New York City, taking the world’s most beloved fairy tales and reimagines them as a dark and twisted. A tale of love, loss, greed, revenge, and murder, the first season is a subversive melange of “The Three Little Pigs,” “Little Red Riding Hood,” and “Hansel and Gretel.”

Cattrall will play Colleen, a not so traditional grandmother. When her son moves back home, this grannie has to grow up fast and take on the parental duties to protect her family against a very dark threat.

Cattrall credits include the HBO Canada series Sensitive Skin, the Swedish television series Modus and two mini-series, The Witness for the Prosecution, and Any Human Heart.
