Kim Kardashian made her much anticipated red carpet return after her scary hostage ordeal in Paris last October.
After attending the Daily Front Row’s 3rd Annual Fashion Los Angeles Awards Sunday evening, the reality star was departing from Hollywood hotspot Mr. Chow and it was reported she was “attacked” as she made her way along the pavement away from the venue.
From the photos taken of the incident, Kim looked evidently shocked as a passerby bumped into her on the street and her friend looked equally alarmed but a bodyguard quickly stepped in. The man was reportedly “let go” because he simply happened to be walking by.
The 36-year old star clarify the issue through Twitter, writing: “So @JonathanCheban just called me & asked if I was ok & read online I was attacked outside Mr. Chow. Totally not true! Such weird rumors.”
“A random guy walks near me & almost bumped into me but he hit the parking meter. Not attacked me. Hope he’s ok!,” she added.
This incident may have reminded Kim’s terrifying Paris ordeal, in which armed robbers entered her room and stole her personal items.
She has since opened up about the nightmare on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, recounting, “OK, this is the moment they’re going to rape me. I fully mentally prepped myself—and then he didn’t.”
“I just knew that was the moment. They’re just totally going to shoot me in the head. I just prayed that Kourtney’s going to have a normal life after she sees my dead body on the bed,” she continued in part.
