CBS’ Studios’ James Comey miniseries finds its Barack Obama.
Multiple outlets confirm that Kingsley Ben-Adir is set to play the former president in the upcoming miniseries based on Comey’s book A Higher Loyalty.
Ben-Adir joins previously announced Jeff Daniels, cast in the role of the former FBI director, with Brendan Gleeson set to play President Donald Trump. Also starring are Brian d’Arcy James as former FBI Deputy Director Mark Giuliano, Steve Zissis as FBI General Counsel James A. Baker, and Shawn Doyle as Bill Priestap, assistant director of the FBI Counterintelligence Division.
Adapting and directing the limited series is Billy Ray who said “I feel humbled by the wealth of talent in this cast. And I’m touched that so many great actors want to be a part of this story.”
Ben-Adir’s other credits include The OA and Peaky Blinders.
