Kingsman: The Great Game is coming our way next year, but this prequel isn’t the only project in the hilarious spy franchise to be excited about. Director Matthew Vaughn recently shared new info about Kingsman 3 and said it will serve as the final chapter of Harry and Eggsy’s story.
This sequel is not to be confused with Kingsman: The Great Game, that’s introducing us to a slate of brand-new characters and taking us decades into the past. Kingsman 3 will stick to the established storyline, and bring the story of our favorite two characters to a close.
Matthew Vaughn discussed the future of the franchise with Digital Spy and said he’s hoping to get Colin Firth and Taron Egerton on board so they could start working on this project sooner than later.
“We’ve got to finish off the Eggsy and Harry relationship. The final chapter of their relationship needs to be told, which we’ve got ready to do, and I’m hoping to shoot that later this year or the beginning of next year,” said Vaughn.
