Kit Harington and Rose Leslie Set a Wedding Date

Our favorite on-screen turned off-screen couple is set to say their ‘I do’s’ very soon!

Game of Thrones stars Kit Harington and Rose Leslie will get married on June 23 in Scotland, according to BBC News.

Harington and Leslie’s characters on GoT, Jon Snow and the wildling, Ygritte, had a brief romance (and one notorious hot spring scene) but on-screen they parted ways as Snow survived to Season eight and Ygritte, didn’t make it past season four.

But the brief on-screen romance was enough for the couple to fall in love. The two have been dating for six years, announcing their engagement last September. Their engagement was announced in The Times paper: “The engagement is announced between Kit, younger son of David and Deborah Harington of Worcestershire, and Rose, the middle daughter of Sebastian and Candy Leslie of Aberdeenshire.

Now they are set the marry next month in northeast Scotland in Aberdeenshire, in a castle owned by Leslie’s father, a British politician.

Leslie has moved on to her next TV gig as a regular in The Good Wife spinoff, The Good Fight. A couple of months ago she spoke to E! News about filming schedules and wedding planning, saying “it’s hard,” but that despite the distance, the couple agrees on “most things.”

All there’s left to wish the couple now is a wedding that’s nothing like the Red Wedding.
