“Krypton” Canceled at Syfy

Syfy has canceled the superhero series after two seasons.

The Superman prequel series was axed due to low viewership. News of the cancelation was announced via the show’s official social media account just days after it aired its Season 2 finale.

The series about Superman’s grandfather, Seg-El, starred Cameron Cuffe as the protagonist as well as Colin Salmon and Georgina.

Following the announcement, Cuffe took to social media, sharing with fans a heartfelt message.

“The beautiful thing about comic books is that the story always continues. All you can do as an artist is to leave it better than you found it. I believe we did just that. I feel boundless love and pride for the Krypton family and above all I feel gratitude. I spent 3 years living a dream. I will always be a proud son of House El and a proud son of Krypton. Keep believing in a better tomorrow.”
