It was just a matter of time before Travis Scott cast girlfriend Kylie Jenner in one of his music videos. That moment is finally here and it’s everything you’d expect and more.
The reality show star and business mogul took on the role of a gold-dipped goddess in the new video for aptly named song Stop Trying to Be God. Just like everything the Kardashians do, Scott’s new video broke the internet because it features Kylie we’ve never seen before.
She plays a strange, celestial character in a clip filled with religious imagery and Bible references. The first time we see her, Jenner is covered in gold paint, while cradling her boyfriend on the ground. She also appears at the end of the video, wearing a metallic gown and holding a baby lamb.
Kylie’s cameo in Stop Trying to Be God came as a shock to some of her fans. The notoriously private couple doesn’t make a lot of public moments in the spotlight since Scott hates all the attention.
“I don’t think he’s really cool with it, but he deals with it, because we love each other and we have a family. That’s why we just go the extra mile to keep our relationship super private… I want him to do his own thing. I want him to be him. I don’t want it to be Kylie and Trav. If people don’t ever see us together, that’s okay with me, because we just do our thing.” said Jenner during an interview with GQ.
