Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood Both Expecting Babies

Lady Antebellum members, Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood, took to Instagram on Thursday to announce that they are expecting babies.

“Well, #BabyBellum round 2 is on the way!” the country trio wrote alongside a photo of their kids. “We’re thrilled to announce the Haywoods are welcoming a girl this December, AND the Tyrrells are expecting in February 2018!”

This is the second child for both Hillary, who has 4-year-old daughter, Eisele Kaye, born in 2013, and Dave, whose wife, Kelli Cashiola, had 2-year-old Cash Van, in September 2014. The band’s third member, Charles Kelley, welcomed his 1-year-old son, Ward, in February 2016.

Dave told People before welcoming Cash, “I had never changed a diaper in my life! I didn’t even know where they clipped! I didn’t know where the Velcro goes.”

Now, the elder Baby Bellums are forming their own bond. “It’s just so sweet to see their friendship really start to grow,” lead singer Hillary told People recently. “When we got to L.A. and Eisele and Cash saw each other, Eisele was like, ‘Cash! I’ve missed you!’ “

The announcement comes as the band continues to tour across the country promoting their latest album, Heartbreak. The group is also scheduled to present at the 2017 ACM Honors ceremony airing on CBS this September, E! News reports.

The news also comes a year after Hillary suffered a miscarriage. This experience inspired the song “Thy Will” from her Grammy winning Christian album, Love Remains. She opened up about the pain and suffering of losing a baby during an interview with Good Morning America.

“I wrote the song in the middle of experiencing everything that comes with the miscarriage so it was my most raw place that I could’ve ever been when this song truly poured out of me,” she said hoping she could offer support to others who have been through the same situation. “I’m a different mom to [my daughter] now. I hug her a lot tighter.”
