Little Monsters and Arianators won’t have to wait long for collaboration between the two artists.

Ever since Gaga teased a collaboration with Grande back in March during a Paper interview, and later announced the collaboration in April when she revealed the tracklist for Chromatica, fans have been waiting for an official release date.

The singers took to social media to make the announcement that the collaboration, “Rain on Me” will drop May 22. “#RAINONME WITH @ARIANAGRANDE ⛈ FRIDAY 5/22, MIDNIGHT ET WORLDWIDE,” read Gaga’s post.

“Rain on Me” will be released one week before Chromatica’s May 29 drop. The cover art features an extraterrestrial Gaga in a cave with Grande at the entrance.

In March, the “Stupid Love” singer teased a music collaboration with the “Thank U, Next” singer during an interview with Paper telling the magazine that the single is “a celebration of all the tears.”

“I sat with her and we talked about our lives,” Gaga continued. “It’s two women having a conversation about how to keep going and how to be grateful for what you do.”
