Netflix has given us one of its biggest hits in recent memory with Wednesday, and its second season is shaping up to be even better than the first. Several major stars joined the hit supernatural coming-of-age series ahead of its hotly anticipated second season, and Lady Gaga is the latest to hop on board.

Not much is known about the role Gaga will play in this series, but Variety reports she’ll most likely appear in a cameo capacity. This will be a full-circle moment for the acclaimed singer and actress, whose song “Bloody Mary” became a viral sensation after its sped-up version appeared in fan videos of Jenna Ortega’s dance scene from Wednesday and started a viral TikTok challenge.

In addition to Lady Gaga, Season 2 will feature several more newcomers to the cast, including Steve Buscemi, Thandiwe Newton, Billie Piper, Joanna Lumley, Noah Taylor, Christopher Lloyd, Frances O’Connor, Haley Joel Osment, and Heather Matarazzo. Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Isaac Ordonez, Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo, Emma Myers, and Joy Sunday will reprise their roles alongside Ortega.

Lady Gaga is fresh off starring in Joker: Folie à Deux opposite Joaquin Phoenix. Her acting credits also include an Oscar-nominated role in A Star Is Born, Ridley Scott’s House of Gucci, and two seasons of Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story.
