“Stupid Love” will be featured on the singer’s sixth studio album, which will be quite a departure from the melancholic and emotional 2016 record Joanne. The singer discussed her new track in a recent interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music and explained why she decided to make this record more fun and offbeat.
“I put all my heart, all my pain, all my messages from the other realm that I hear of [and] what they tell me to tell the world, and I put it into music that I believe to be so fun and energetically really pure. I want people to dance and feel happy,” explained Lady Gaga.
