The Emmy-winning Master of None writer-actress is the latest addition to the HBO drama.
Season 3 of Westworld has tapped some big-name additions ahead of its forthcoming season including Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad) and now Waithe. The two join series stars Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, Jeffrey Wright, and Thandie Newton.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the nature of her role, that is whether its a recurring or series regular commitment is kept strictly under wraps in Westworld tradition.
The series is based on the Michael Crichton film of the same name. It hails from exec producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy. Production recently began and Season 3
is likely to debut in 2020.
