Procedural drama 9-1-1, created by the dream duo Brad Falchuk and Ryan Murphy, is getting a spinoff with the most perfect lead! Liv Tyler will play a key role in the upcoming Fox series 9-1-1: Lone Star.
This spinoff will be set in Austin, and follow the adventures of sophisticated New York firefighter Owen who has to adapt to a new life in the Texas capital with his son while balancing his career and personal life.
Rob Lowe will take on the lead role in this series, and Liv Tyler is set to join him as chief paramedic Michelle Blake, who’s the only one who can match wits with Owen at the station. Despite her brilliant and wry personality, Michelle is struggling to stay in control of her own life, due to her obsession to find out what happened with her little sister, who disappeared two years ago.
Before landing this part, The Lord of the Rings star appeared on the latest season of period drama Harlots, and we’ll soon get to see her alongside Brad Pitt in Ad Astra.
