There’s a lot of anticipation surrounding the second season of Loki, and it’s safe to safe it’s worth the hype! Disney+ dropped the first full trailer for the next chapter of this mind-bending Marvel series, which will keep exploring alternate realities of the MCU.
The first trailer reunites us with Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Mobius (Owen Wilson) and introduces us to one of the show’s most exciting new characters: a Time Variance Authority archivist OB, played by the Oscar-winning star Ke Huy Quan.
The duo is looking for a solution to Loki’s time-slipping problem, only to learn there’s nothing to be done because this phenomenon never happened within the walls of the TVA. As the trailer progresses, we see Loki being pulled through time over and over again, witnessing harrowing scenes that threaten the existence of the world as we know it.
The new trailer also teases the return of Jonathan Majors as Victor Timely, a variant of Kang the Conqueror. Eugene Cordero, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, and Tara Strong will also reprise their roles from the show’s first season while Rafael Casal, Kate Dickie, and Liz Carr are among the newcomers joining the cast.
The next season of Loki will start streaming on Disney+ on October 6 and it will feature a total of six episodes.
