Eva Longoria and Michael Peña Join “Dora the Explorer”

Dora the Explorer movie is just a year away, and it turns out our favorite little adventurer will have the most amazing parents ever! Eva Longoria and Michael Peña just joined the upcoming movie, and they’ll be playing Dora’s mom and dad.

2018 is shaping out to be an amazing year for Longoria. She kicked the year off by making a cameo on hit comedy series Jane the Virgin. Golden Globe nominee later appeared in a rom-com Overboard, alongside Anna Faris and Eugenio Derbez, who also joined the cast of Dora the Explorer. To make things even better, Longoria welcomed her baby boy Santiago in June this year.

Her new co-star Michael Peña is also doing pretty great right now. He starred in several big budget movies in 2018, including Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp. Peña is also getting ready to leave his mark on the world of television. He will play one of the lead roles in highly anticipated crime drama Narcos: Mexico. It should debut’s on Netflix later this year, but a release date hasn’t been set yet.

Both stars are an amazing addition to the upcoming Dora the Explorer movie, and actress Isabela Moner probably couldn’t be any happier to have them as her on-screen parents. Fans will have to wait until August 2, 2019, to see this dynamic cast bringing Dora’s new adventures to life.
