A new Mac Miller album is coming this week.

The family of the late musician announced that Miller’s unfinished Circles will be released next week on Friday, January 17.

The family announced the news via Miller’s official social media, writing, “This is a complicated process that has no right answer. No clear path. We simply know that it was important to Malcolm for the world to hear it.”

According to Vulture, the album was originally conceived as a companion album for Swimming, Miller’s final release. “Two different styles complementing each other, completing a circle — Swimming in Circles was the concept,” the statement reads.

Miller died in September 2018.
